Steps to reproduce:
Log in to Jiminny as an admin user.
Navigate to Organization Settings > User page
/settings/organization/members
Remove the Voice role from user “A”
Check the assigned number in Twilio
Expected:
The assigned phone number should be automatically released in Twilio.
Observed:
The phone number is
not released
in Twilio.
Note:
The issue appears to be that the number is removed locally but not released in Twilio.
users.softphone_number
is set to NULL ==> CORRECT
the related record in
phone_numbers
table is deleted ==> CORRECT

Recorder & Voice
role and has an assigned Twilio softphone number.
Steps to reproduce:
Log in to Jiminny as an admin user.
Navigate to Organization Settings > User page
/settings/organization/members
Remove the Voice role from user “A”
Check the assigned number in Twilio
Expected:
The assigned phone number should be automatically released in Twilio.
Observed:
The phone number is
not released
in Twilio.
Note:
The issue appears to be that the number is removed locally but not released in Twilio.
users.softphone_number
is set to NULL ==> CORRECT
the related record in
phone_numbers
table is deleted ==> CORRECT

role and has an assigned Twilio softphone number.
Steps to reproduce:
Log in to Jiminny as an admin user.
Navigate to Organization Settings > User page
/settings/organization/members
Remove the Voice role from user “A”
Check the assigned number in Twilio
Expected:
The assigned phone number should be automatically released in Twilio.
Observed:
The phone number is
not released
in Twilio.
Note:
The issue appears to be that the number is removed locally but not released in Twilio.
users.softphone_number
is set to NULL ==> CORRECT
the related record in
phone_numbers
table is deleted ==> CORRECT
